Sweat fell from his face as he looked around. There were three of
them. Three enemies and only his two fists. Man, they were outnumbered.
He re-examined his gloves, mentally thanking the blacksmith for taking
on his need for a blade-less weapon. The magician he got the fabric
lining from told him there were enhancing magical properties in it but
he ignored them. His strength alone was enough for now. He looked up
again at the bandits that dared to try and rob him. The one from his
left dashed forward with two daggers, one backwards and the other facing
him. He stepped forward knocking the first dagger to the side and
pushed the second back behind the bandit and knocked him in the forehead
with his. The bandit staggered backwards a step and that was all he
needed. As he jabbed for his face with his left hook, he noticed the
other bandits coming with him. He ducked and swung his leg, sweeping
behind him knocking one to the ground. He tucked to the side and hopped
back to his feet. The bandit still standing up ran to help the one he
knocked down. He dashed forward and front flipped doing an axe kick to
the bandit he tripped. His heel crushed the bandit's trachea. He stood
back up as the other two bandits, even more enraged now, came running
towards him. He smiled. Evil would not prevail today. He stepped forward
and ducked, punching at their knees. The one on the right was still
dizzy and didn't jump in time while the one on his left leaped. The
dizzy bandit fell grasping at his knee as he spun around and stood. The
last bandit looked at his dead and injured buddies. His face showed a
mix of cowardice and fury. He gripped his sword with both hands and
dashed forward in a suicidal frenzy. He almost pitied the bandit. He
made it quick, slapping the sword aside with the back of his right hand
and swung a left hook to his temple, knocking him out instantly. Whether
he'd survive or not was his problem now. He grabbed their bandit sashes
and walked away flexing his hands. The road should be safe for now.
